When bringing chicks home:
•Provide warm (room-temperature) drinking water immediately
•Gently dip each chick’s beak to introduce them to the water source
•Add small pebbles or marbles to shallow water dishes to prevent drowning
Some customers choose to add natural supplements to water; however, proper warmth, hydration, and monitoring are most critical during the first 24 hours.

Minimum Order Policy
For the health, safety, and social development of day-old chicks, a minimum purchase of two (2) chicks per order is required.
Customers may select two of the same breed or two different breeds to meet this minimum. This policy exists solely to promote chick welfare and reduce stress during transition.

Our one-day-old Silkie chicks are:
•Purebred
•Bearded and crested
•Available in recognized Silkie color varieties
•Bred from carefully selected show lines
Unless otherwise specified, Silkies are sold as Straight Run (approximately 50/50 male to female ratio). When pullets are offered, we maintain a 90% pullet accuracy policy. No hatchery can guarantee 100% accuracy at hatch. If a chick matures male under this policy, we refund the price difference between straight-run and pullet pricing.

All shipments include carrier insurance coverage.
In the rare event of a deceased-on-arrival (DOA):
•USPS must inspect the box at pickup
•PS Form 3831 must be completed
•Notification must be provided within 24 hours
Resolution options (one-time selection):
1.Replacement chicks (customer responsible for shipping)
2.Refund for affected chicks (shipping excluded)

•Approved cancellations are subject to a $35 restocking fee
